Maa Tujhe Salaam..

Well as guessed from the title of the blog, this one is totally dedicated to Moms :)

Just read Chan’s Blog where he had written about his experience lately with his mom. I have been reading some wonderful SAHM Blogs, and yeah aren’t they really wonderful? Read A’s Blog today where she’s celebrating chotu’s 2nd b’day :) Throughout her blog she has been my inspiration. How nicely she defends chotu and how nicely she explains the gestures of chotu.  And then Hitchwriter’s blog, where a song reminds him of his mom, there are so many comments where everybody have said how lonely they feel missing their mom. All these blogs together inspired me in some way to write this blog today.

Mom are the most wonderful creation God has made on this planet. They stand by our side whatever odds come in our life. They strive hard throughout their life to give the kids the best of what they can get.  She’s an epitome of strength for her kids. No matter how odd she feels inside, she keeps that smile on her face, hiding her all her fears and sorrows. This smile makes our day :) . I wonder where they get all the strength from. ‘S’ always says, the best thing God has ever created is Mom :) and I truly respect that. So much strength, so much patience and calmness in them. Where do they get it from?

When I wake up in the morning, she’s there already tired cooking breakfasts and packing lunch for us. And then serves everyone with the same patience she cooked. Sometimes when dad doesn’t like the way she has prepared the breakfast and if his mood is bad, then we’re all gone. First it would start with me tasting the food, I as always say the same story “Its good..” and he gives me that stare. I dig my head into the plate, and he replies, “You have spoiled the kids…”. Once he’s gone to office we both sit and giggle about the food.

Its always dad’s turn in the kitchen on weekends. And me and my sis always wait for weekends to get hands on some of the new recipes dad’s prepared. In the mid of war against the kadai and sabji’s , mom suddenly makes a guest appearance, to add salt or masala into the kadai. And there he goes again…. Mom frowns and comes out. And when I see her, she gives me that smile, saying in her heart “I’m ok..” . I sometimes sit and wonder how can she have so much calmness in her? Why don’t i get a pinch of that in me.  She’s blamed always for whatever mistake me or my sis do. She takes all the blame and sits with us and makes us understand that we shouldn’t have done like that.

Her way of making us understand is just awesome. She knows that, if she calls us, makes us sit with her, and tells us what to do, we would never listen. She finds when we are in a good mood and together,  if my sis has done some mistake, then I can help her in some way to put things to my sis.

Such are her ways, to make things better at home. She turns a house into a home :)  Am sorry mom, If I have hurt you ever…. sigh.!!!
